1. Will rain wash away spray-on grass seed?
No, normal rainfall might wash off some of the green coloring in your hydroseed, but it should not dislodge the seeds themselves. In cases of very heavy rain right after application on erosion-prone soil, some problems might occur, but this is uncommon.

2. Do birds eat spray-on grass seed?
Although it’s generally hard to keep birds away from seeds, birds tend to avoid hydroseed because the mulch in the spray is unappealing. Additionally, hydroseed is incorporated into the soil rather than left on the surface, which further deters birds.

3. Can spray-on grass seed be used on slopes?
It works on slopes, but avoid applying on very steep inclines to prevent runoff and seed clumping further downslope than desired.

How to Plant

Pour the full bag of grass seed and liquid into the container.

With the dial set to OFF, attach the hose and turn the water on.

Turn the dial to "LIGHT SEED," fill the container three-quarters full with water, then shut off the water for at least 60 seconds.

This step ensures the seeds are properly coated. After waiting a minute, turn the water back on to begin seeding!
